GLIMMER MIST 2 - CARD MAKING
Class with Phyllis - $30
Saturday, May 3
10:00am-1:00pm
The new colors are in and they are gorgeous! Come and explore various techniques using this fabulous medium. We will "play" the class away away using different papers, media, and stencils. After we spray, we will use the results to create a set of general occasion cards to have ready to send at a moments notice. Please come "dressed down". If you have a non-stick craft mat, please bring it.
RUBBER STAMP COLLAGE

Inspired by some of Cavallini’s postcards, we’ll create a beautiful collage (maybe two) with just stamps, ink and simple masking techniques. Please bring a stamp positioner as well as your class kit.
TEA BAG FOLDING
Class with Phyllis - $35

Using wonderful stamps from Impression Obsession, learn the therapeutic techniques of folding papers and creating wonderful medallions to use with your card making. We will learn a few (of the very many) different folds. Please be sure to bring a paper trimmer or the correct (inquire at The Ink Pad) square punch (way easier and faster).

Up for a challenge? Then come and make at least a dozen beautiful cards and a couple of folders to keep them in. Using shadow stamps we’ll create elegant cards for every occasion. Please bring a stamp positioner as well as your class kit.

COOL COPPER CARDS

In this class we'll make collage cards incorporating cool copper elements. You'll learn different techniques from dry embossing copper to oxidizing. Bring a few favorite stamps and your imagination!

Using the new Cat's Eye's Queues, see how these terrific stack able chalk inks create beautiful soft backgrounds. We'll use a technique called Direct to Paper, first made famous by Magenta of Canada. We'll also use a terrific tool called the Rolltap to make border frames for these unique papers.
PATERA PENDANTS

Making beautiful jewelry has never been easier. With Patera pendants, beads, stamps and micro beads, you’ll make two beautiful works of art to wear. And, in case you want to give them away, you’ll also create a box to put them in.

HIGHLIGHT STAMPING

Learn a really neat technique that will 'highlight' your already fabulous stamped cards! We'll have fun exploring a few fun techniques for coloring your stamped cards and then take it up a notch by highlighting an element or two.
BACK TO BASICS

This ultra complete class will teach you all the basics. You’ll learn why there are so many types of ink pads, which paper to use and basic coloring methods. Great for new stampers and those who need a refresher on what’s new in stamping. (No class kit required).
TRANSFER-A-PALOOZA

Love transfered images? A whole class devoted to different ways to transfer images into your artwork. From acetate to paint (yes, paint!) we'll show you how to do it all. You'll use these techniques over and over again.
INCHIES GALORE

Come and learn what all the buzz is about! Inchies are 1-inch by 1-inch wonderful little works of art that will enchant the eye and make everybody smile. Working with papers, rubber stamps, inks, paints & embellishments, make a myriad of finished pieces to use on greeting cards, paper quilts, mosaics, wall hangings, magnets and more. We will complete an inchie ATC, magnet, greeting card and mini canvas to highlight your favorite inchie. Your class fee includes a grab bag of supplies for you to continue inchie madness at home. If you have them, please bring a black permanent ink pad, sharp detail scissors, color pencils and your favorite adhesive to this class.

PUNCHED METAL
Class with Rachel - $35
Monday, May 19
7:15pm-9:30pm
In this class we’ll use punches on metal (and some other cool tools) to create beautiful charms, frames and ribbons that can be used on cards, scrapbooks and jewelry. We’ll even make Benita’s rose from metal! Feel free to bring your favourite punches to class.

Saturday, June 7 - $68
We will take you to stamping heaven, with approximately 30 vendors, many of whom will offer exciting demos. The price includes: travel, entry into the show, a fabulous Ink Pad goody bag and the chance to win one of 12 incredible prizes in our raffle. We'll also watch some cool videos on the bus.
We will leave the shop at 7:45am and return at approx. 8:00pm. The trip takes about 3 hours each way.

CLASS POLICY
To register for a class, please call us at 212.463.9876 – a credit card deposit is required. Please register early to avoid low enrollment class cancellation. Our teachers work very hard to prepare materials for each student so we cannot accept cancellations. We reserve the right to cancel a class with fewer than 4 students. As a courtesy to your fellow classmates & the instructor, it is crucial to arrive on time. Take one class and receive 10% off of any items purchased the day of that class; take two classes on the same day and receive 15% off any items purchase the day of those classes. Class discount cannot be used with any other coupons, discounts, or sale items.
CLASS KIT
Students must bring scissors, cutting mat, an X-acto (craft) knife, glue stick, double stick tape, bone folder, pencil, and ruler. Any additional items will be listed in the class description.
